No, we don't.  Trunk should remain stable. If you want to do  
something destabilizing, you should do it in a branch.

However, since we're still bootstrapping the build system on svn, I  
think it's OK if you use trunk as a rapid prototyping vehicle for  
that work.

Let's return to keeping it as shippable as possible once the build  
system has restabilized, though.
