Hm, I don't like this solution, because on the one hand we're
deprecating an attribute so we're saying: "folks stop using this
attribute, we're going to remove it", but on the other hand we don't
really care about what we said and ship a release which makes heavy use
of "isinited" (found 53 times in lps/components).
