Yes, ec2 is running Lucid. We had been wanting to do that upgrade for a while. I don't think you can work around problems like this until we are fully upgraded. Since buildbot is now running Lucid, running Hardy in EC2 would still cause problems when moving off of dev (Lucid) to EC2 (Hardy) then back to buildbot (Lucid again).
