We can only reduce the frequency of this: whenever you've got to submit a branch for merge againt db-devel, you'll hit the same problem. And if we are only looking for a band-aid, perhaps we can have users' browser remember the last choice (through a cookie or something) and then offer this as a feature for everybody using MPs instead?
