Hello,

Many years ago, on Johnny Carson, there was a guest who had written a
book about dreams and he was atlking about nightmares. He said that if
you are having a nightmare and you wake up before it is resolved you
should try to go back to sleep and resume the dream. I tried this once,
and it worked...it is the only time I have ever been able to do it.

My dream was that my mom and I were being chased down a country road (at
my Aunt's house) by two strange men. Just before they caught us, I woke
up, and yes, I felt fear. Somehow I was able to go back to sleep
immediately and resumed the dream. Well, they caught us and it was
because my Mom had left her purse behind and they were trying to return
it to her.

I never could find the book that he had written and the title is long
forgotten but I wish I could have read the whole thing. This guy was
fascinating.

I rarely have nightmares (only when I've had too much caffeine at night)
and I rarely recall any dreams but I do know that I dream in color.

If anybody knows of any good books on the subject, please let me know.
I would be interested in learning more about this.

Sooz
