having to work through the patch and apply it to your repository to

Nope, since for reviews, I only read the diff. I don't need to see the
code in action. As soon as that is OK, typing "patch -p0 < somepatch"
isn't the work anymore.
Therefore I need *one* diff and not a bunch of diffs
