No, it will stay at 3.0.1. Only after 3.0.2 is released it wil be
increased to 3.0.3. Take a look at fixes_2_6 to see what I mean...
(which is currently at 2.6.5)
What version number RCs will receive?
RCs don't have separate version numbers. The version number for 3.0.0 RC
will be 3.0.0.
