Also, I really like all the available image data formats lcms can handle for it's transformation function, like "GRAYA_16", etc. Maps nicely to OpenGL. But what about 32 or 16 bit floating point formats, are those covered?
Check back in the list archives a month or two back for a message where Marti describes how the API user can extend lcms's ability to input and output otherwise unsupported formats.
