What kind of network connections were dropping? I've only seen problems with 
UDP traffic.

There hasn't been a solution that I know of so far. We worked with sun
support for about three weeks and weren't able to find a resolution.

We have since switched to zones on the sam physical server and no
longer have the dropped network connections.
