We still have our issue with dropped ICMP packets which upsets IPMP somewhat 
(link based IPMP doesn't work with vnet hosts).

Because of this our production servers each loose their connections for 1-40 
seconds on a near weekly basis as mpathd is stupid enough to disconnect the 
last failed (as far as it's concerned) interface.

Sun have also been useless in this matter, however zones is not an option for 
us at present.
