Can you provide the output from "ifconfig -a" command, this will help us understand the configuration better. I am more interested in the MAC addresses and the IP addresses that were assigned to both vswX and physical interface. Is the IP address that is assigned to vswX interface is in the same subnet as the guest domain that you are trying to communicate with? Is there a specific reason, you would like to keep the physical interface plumbed? Note, there will be a performance impact if the physical interface is plumbed, this is because the MAC layer will have to make a copy of every packet that is received in order to give it to both vsw and the physical interface. This will be avoided if vsw interface is the only one that is configured. -Raghuram. > Thanks, > > dan > -- > This message was posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > ldoms-discuss mailing list > ldoms-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/ldoms-discuss >
