Other things I'd really like to see besides the ones mentioned above would be:
1. The ability to have redundant control domains that have consistent state
with each other, so that the control domain is not a SPOF as it is today.
2. Greater flexibility with splitting up I/O by having more PCI-E "leaves".
Maybe this will come as part of the upcoming Victoria Falls platform.
3. In Victoria Falls, the ability to:
* Reschedule LDOMs on the failed CPU to the other. (Might depend on thread
sharing between LDOMS)
* Have a CPU failure not crash the hypervisor.
4. Lastly, "Etude" is fantastic, but true sun4v for Solaris 8 and 9 would be
divine for consolidating all of my many hundred older systems.
