A bit more good news :-) The LDoms Manager patch 142840-01 is already 
available which fixes that domain migration issue (6855156).
The full list of changes in that patch is:

6849667 Allow hostid of an existing domain be modified
6855156 migration blocked because sasl_encode64 output buffer is now too small
6861388 Modify set-domain options CLI
6866528 XML List command does not get updated statistics

A newer rev of 142840 will be released in a few weeks that will address
that Power Management bug.
