Hm - you're surely right that this is what was discussed (and I absolutely
agree with that goal), but the message I replied to was about using a
specific programming language (Klix/Java). And the message that one referred
to stated ([EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote this):

(note: I don't want to "point fingers" at anybody - I'm just trying to make
clear why I wrote what I wrote in my response to Scott).

All I wanted to point out in my first message (the one Scott responded to)
was that I think it's a little premature to discuss what language to write
the client in before one actually knows how to connect to the "server"
(under the circumstances I mentioned in that mail - namely, that I don't
know of any free/easy to use SSH packages and that, as far as I know, SSL is
not supported on the kinds of webservers that run on LEAF).

And Scott correctly pointed out (or, brought the focus back to what's
important at this point) that wondering about how to connect to the
server/wondering about the gui is premature, before one has decided about
the "schema".

Or _am_ I reading a different thread? It could well be that I missed
something important, since Scott also mentioned "from schema to UI in 5
emails."

Martin
