Caution: I recently upgraded MS Office. It now accepts Access
attachments in Outlook, but won't let me access them, because it is
possible for them to contain macro code. I have to export the messages
out of Outlook to get at the damn attachments.

I knew vaguely about this problem.. but somehow I missed it during the
upgrade.

I guess my point is that if you ask for it, you might not get what you
think you ought to be getting.

There has been a lot of discussion recently about packaging systems, but
simply separating the configuration from the package would be a big help.
People could distribute an updated package, and others could in most cases
simply replace theirs and reboot. If they don't like it, they can copy
the old one back in place.
