I never use disk images, as I am typically using a dual boot from a
partitioned flash disk configured with grub. That way I can configure
many things on the router itself, using the running software. It helps a
lot when doing remote upgrades, the only thing really missing is remote
serial access :-)

The disk image is one thing. For myself and possibly others I would like
to have a repository of packages (which appears not to be up to date see
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/packages)
