Yes, but then what, reverting everything to start over? Typically there
is more than a single file to commit.

Again, I have not yet found the magic key to compare three files in
different branches plus master.

Somehow I liked the old fashioned locking mechanisms. I understand that
it is much more fancy to just be able to pretend you are alone in the
development cycle, still it is not really the truth.

Anyway either it beats me or I beat it.

BTW. anyone working on wpa_supplicant?
