I am going to say it anyway: Download the Dachstein kernel and replace
the linux file and the modules in modules.lrp. This is only very slightly
more work than putting this one module in.
Note that I did not say "download the Dachstein image and start
reconfiguring from scratch". You don't have to do that to benefit from
the Dachstein kernel.
