I just got some new VPN (client) software from work and in conjunction with moving do Dachstein-CD I have questions I can't figure out from my look at the CD.
How do I handle port forwarding of other protocols? I need to have udp (protocol 17) port 500 forwarded to my laptop, fine. I also need protocol 50 & 51 "open" (all src/dst forwarded to my laptop). I am moving from an old LRP 2.9.3 so this world is quite different. I'm not sure if I need additional packages to handle the 50/51 protocols or not. I have DHCP based on MAC on the LAN at home so for all intents and purposes I can treat internal addresses as static. Thanks, dbc. -- David B.
