I tried everything to compile SquidGuard. The stable version requires libdb 2.6.4+ and won't work with any libdb 3 less than 3.4+ something. It won't work with libdb 4 at all apparently. It also has bugs that keep it from compiling, and hasn't been updated in almost two years.
The development version also requires libdb in the versions listed, but won't compile. The development version is dated July 2001.
