not to brag on DSL...I get 1.55 meg downloads from the local newserver with
a P2-75 with 32 meg ram and dual floppy
of course, the telco put a dslam less than 3000 yards from the neighborhood
last year :)

Just to let you know, I just finished building a new router box. 266
mhz PII, 64 meg of ram, and two FA310 nic's.
Running the floppy version of Dachstein with PPPoE. Same as we talked
about before, download speeds are around 1.2 meg.
