The exact wiring depends on the controller used on your LCD, and the pinout of your particular LCD module, as well as the software you are intending to use to talk to the LCD (there's no single standard for hooking up a parallel interface LCD to the parallel port). If the module uses the standard Hitachi 44780 interface (implemented by the Hitachi 44780 series LCD controllers, and *MANY* virtual clones from multiple manufacturers), you might be well served by the "WinAmp" LCD wiring configuration, which is documented in many places around the 'net...I happen to have a nice PDF Schematic I drew: http://lrp.steinkuehler.net/Packages/LCDProc/images/winamplcd.pdf Charles Steinkuehler http://lrp.steinkuehler.net http://c0wz.steinkuehler.net (lrp.c0wz.com mirror) _______________________________________________ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user
