I recompiled the unicorn_pci.o and unicorn_atm.o They are in: http://leaf.sf.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/modules/drivers/atm
Now you have to do the following: insmod slhc insmod ppp_generic insmod pppoatm insmod unicorn_atm insmod unicorn_pci ActivationMode=1 Here is the log I get: May 5 12:28:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_atm: unicorn $Revision: 0.2.3 $ time 09:17:44 May 5 2002 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: unicorn_pci $Revision: 0.2.3 $ time 09:15:32 May 5 2002 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: MSW parameters: May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: ActivationMode=1 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: ActTimeout=10000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: AutoActivation=1 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: DebugLevel=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: DownstreamRate=10000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: ExchangeDelay=10 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: FmPollingRate=1000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: g_RefGain=32 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: g_Teqmode=7 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: InitTimeout=20000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: Interoperability=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: LCD_Trig=15000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: LOS_LOF_Trig=5000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: LoopbackMode=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: MswDebugLevel=2 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: RetryTime=5000 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: TrainingDelay=100 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: useRFC019v=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: useRFC029v=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: useRFC040v=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: useRFC041v=1 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: useRFCFixedRate=1 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: useVCXO=1 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: _no_TS652=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pci: driver parameters: DebugLevel=0 May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pcidrv.c : start_device: no PCI cards found May 5 12:29:54 firewall kernel: unicorn_pcidrv.c : unicorn_pci_init: inititalization of PCI failed This last line is OK I guess since I do not have the hardware :-) in /lib/modules, you should have: # ls -la unicorn_* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16617 May 5 12:27 unicorn_atm.o -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 668398 May 5 12:28 unicorn_pci.o Also I updated the ppp-atm.lrp package in bering/packages. It is now called pppatm.lrp You have both the 2.4.0 and the 2.4.0b2 version pppatm.lrp in symlinked to 2.4.0 (the most recent one). If you have problem with it try b2. Let me know how it goes Jacques _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes? SourceForge.net is looking for download mirrors. We supply the hardware.
