Kim: Yes it is possible to use more than one classifier. Absolutely no problem. If you are interested in examples how to filter ACK and other special TCP packets with u32, please have a look at the script contained in the .lrp package mentioned below.
Omar: > Is it possible to accomplish traffic shaping with Dachstein? Yes, it is. Please use http://leaf.sf.net/devel/sminola/files/packages/qos.lrp I copied the short description and documentation for the package for you: <start short documentation> ***Please edit /usr/sbin/qos.sh according to your internet speed*** There are only four values which you have to care about: ETH_SPEED_UPLINK=10 ETH_SPEED_DOWNLINK=10 DOWNLINK=512 UPLINK=128 Everything is documented in the file itself (read the comments). The script is completely plug&play and should fit most setups without changes. This script does REALLY take effect! Now you can surf while downloading with maximum speed, play Counter-Strike while down/uploadin without lags, upload while downloading, ssh without lags while uploading/downloading etc etc. IMPORTANT Note for all Dachstein floppy users: Because QoS is not compiled into the dachstein.small kernel, you'll have to use the normal kernel! Also the modules (sch_cbq.o, sch_sfq.o and cls_u32.o) are from the dachstein-normal tree. http://lrp.steinkuehler.net/files/kernels/2.2.19-3-normal/linux-2.2.19-3-LEA F-normal.zImage.upx </end short documentation> If you have any questions, please ask to the list and use a new subject. --- Sandro Minola | LEAF Developer (http://leaf.sourceforge.net) mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.minola.ch | http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/sminola - My PGP key is at: http://www.minola.ch/pgp/sminola.asc --- _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
