Cool, this was a quick one. Taking a clue from the /etc/pcmcia/config file, it seems that pcnet_cs.o also needs to have 8390.o around. This was all for a Linksys PCM100 pcmcia card. You'd need to add these lines: card "Linksys EtherFast 10/100 Integrated PC Card (PCM100)" manfid 0x0149, 0xc1ab bind "pcnet_cs" to the /etc/pcmcia/config file if anyone else wants to get this card configured.
