dumm0 and ppp1 are not addresses, they are network interface names.

dummy0 is there by default.  To the best of my knowledge, it is mainly
used when you are not using masquerading. For example, if you have a ppp
interface with a static IP address, and you normally access a service on
the router through another interface using that ip address, you can assign
it to the dummy device while the ppp interface is down.

ppp0 looks like your external interface... it has a public IP address.

ppp1 looks like a pptp connection point.  Are you supporting inbound (or
outbound) pptp connections for a VPN?

What is in your /etc/network/interfaces file?
