Hi,

I'm trying to set up Dachstein to run with two NICs based on the Realtek 8139 chipset. I don't have much linux experience so I need simple and specific walk-through instructions. The most pressing question I have right now is:

The disk that came with the NICs wanted me to compile a driver from the source code rtl8139.c, then copy it to /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/pcmcia then edit the /etc/pcmcia/config file and the linuxconf. How do I do this? or, is there an easier way to get around this?

Chris
