I am a Bering user.
I nearly completed the test and installation related to
http://www.openbrick.org/openbrick/Members/seb/doc/vpn.stx/view.
However, there is no serious problem when it is operated as it is in the
general companies, but there is Client Program for MS-Window that is
operated only by Global IP. So I am very concerned about it.
My configuration goals are as follows
(A)
subnet 123.123.123.0/24 =leftsubnet

| [whatever]

inside interface
left gateway machine and router (Bering Box)
interface xx.xx.xx.xx (dynamic) =left
|
|
INTERNET
|
|
(B) interface 123.123.123.1 (static) =right
right gateway machine and router (Bering Box)
inside interface

subnet 123.123.123.0/24 =rightsubnet
1. I plan to use Internet as Client Computers in (A) are connected to
Gateway in (B) through VPN Tunnel.
2. For continuous VPN connection, I plan to install and operate the dual
lines in Bering Box(ADSL:PPPoE,Cable modem) in (A).
3. I want the automatic transfer to the cable modem when the
communication is disconnected in VPN connection through ADSL line.
4. I want the connection to be recovered as the original status(VPN
connection) when ADSL line is recovered as the normal operation.
In short, I would like to use Internet through Gateway in (B) as local
computers in (A) receive Global IP in (B) through VPN Tunnel.
I need all environment setting methods for Server and Client.
I wish your reply in details.
