Major difference is ipv6 support in Bering-uClibc 2.0x - ipv6 AFAIK cannot supported on LEAF systems based on old glibc. Besides that, updated programs and packages, cleanups and maybe new bugs... If you're current system provides all you want and runs solid, there is no need to change it.
