Michael, Ray, Lynn, I have solved the weblet problem so now everything is functioning as I had desired. It turns out that having a record in the DNS data files pointing to the client on the private side of the lan is not needed and in fact causes the issue with weblet being able to respond to a browser request. I removed =coventry.kroffts.home:192.168.1.1 from the files and all is well.
Again, I cannot thank you and the others who posted, enough for the support you provided. I have learned a lot about dns in this exercise and still feel like I have just scratched the surface.
