Thanks for your reply, Ray.  I got it fixed.  Turns out it must have
been a bad dropbear.lrp package.  I installed Bering-uClib 2.1 and
everything worked fine.  I tried to post this information to the list,
but my address change has messed me up a bit.I am going to try to copy
it again.
