Using Bering 1.2 floppy, I have pump working on eth0, and a static ip (192.168.10.254) on eth1 in my Bering 1.2 box.
Eth0 is connected to a campus network that serves DHCP, and I removed the "nodns" parameter from the pump package config. I can look in resolve.conf and see the available dns servers. But, it appears that DNSCACHE can't use them. My internal hosts on eth1 have static Ips and their gateway and dns point to 192.168.10.254. No web browser will work unless I add a secondary DNS (one visible from resolv.conf on the Bering box) to the internal host config. Then everything is fine.
