I know many/most new computers no longer have floppies, and USB "solid-state disks" are becoming de-rigueur. Personally, I don't like it. I want my diskettes! In dangerous situations I can slide that write-protect tab and go ahead. I suppose it's a matter of personal experience, but it's the fact that LEAF/Bering would run from a floppy that attracted me to it.
