Thank you ! That solved the booting problem. I also saw that sh-httpd was not found. It turns out that when I make the disk image or when Nero burns it, sh-httpd becomes sh_httpd. Simple enough to fix. Now the only remaining issue is getting the time zone info to work. I tried an entry in /etc/TZ and a file from Charles site for /etc/local time but ntpdate keeps setting the time to UTC
which I guess is as it should but I don't get the proper offset from date command. I have a cron job that stops internet access for certain machines at a certain time of day. Cron keeps executing them early. I live in Ohio so it seems I am off by 5 hours.
