The IDEINFO is used to give you the correct settings for C/H/S
(Cylinders/Heads/Sectors) from the CF card (not being a real HDD you still
need this info for you BIOS settings) when you chose to make the CF card the
boot device.

"generally" (and I say that with a cringe on my face) you should be ok by
doing an AUTO DETECT in the bios, but your mileage my vary.

Make Google you friend for the IDEINFO tool I'm sure it's out there (if AUTO
DETECT doesn't work).

Now it is only the first link that is missing. How to get the IDEINFO.
What do you need the information for? It doesn't say what you need the
information for just that you need it.
The link to the kernels is right on the webpage.
