Thanks KP. Looks like I have a new problem:

Busybox won't configure my network interface:

Reconfiguring network interfaces: ifdown: don't seem to have all the
variables for eth0/inet
ifup: don't seem to have all the variables for eth0/inet
done.

This is only on the dhcp interface; the static interfaces are fine. 

interfaces:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
