I am running 3.1-rc1.

When openntpd is started in the -s mode, I get the following:
Running start command ...
Starting openntpd: dispatch_imsg in main: pipe closed
Lost child: child exited
Terminating
openntpd.

The command failed. Usually this is due to an
error in the configuration file.

When openntpd is started in configtest mode (-n), I get the following:
  Running start command ...
Starting openntpd: ntp engine ready
imsg_get: Bad file descriptor
ntp engine exiting
Lost child: child exited
Terminating
openntpd.

The command failed. Usually this is due to an
error in the configuration file.

The configuration files are as follows:
/etc/default/openntpd
# Uncomment to set the system time when starting in case the offset
# between the local clock and the servers is more than 180 seconds.
# For other options, see man ntpd(8).
DAEMON_OPTS=" -s"

/etc/openntpd/ntpd.conf
# $OpenBSD: ntpd.conf,v 1.7 2004/07/20 17:38:35 henning Exp $
# sample ntpd configuration file, see ntpd.conf(5)

# Addresses to listen on (ntpd does not listen by default)
#listen on *
#listen on 127.0.0.1
#listen on ::1

# sync to a single server
#server ntp.example.org

# use a random selection of 8 public stratum 2 servers
# see http://twiki.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/NTPPoolServers
servers pool.ntp.org

Any suggestions you have for finding the source of this problem would be
greatly appreciated.

Matt
