Yes I have tried to change initrd in rc1, but i don't known which IDE driver is correct for net4501; perhaps the "generic IDE driver" (ide-generic.ko) can run correctly but i cannot find it in "modules.tgz".
About the TTY incompatibility suggested by Andrew, I have tried to change the syslinux version (now i use 4.04) but the kernel does not boot; the same compact flash runs correctly on a net4801. I have many LEAF uclibc 3.1 net4501 installed in production without console problems. Can I do other tests? Sorry for my poor english..
