Hi Graziano,

I see you have "nodma=hda ide=nodma" for Bering 3.1. Are you using the
equivalent for 4.x? I think you need "libata.dma=0" for the 2.6 kernel.

The "generic" IDE driver is probably ata_generic.ko and we also have
ata_legacy.ko, both in the standard initrd.

Could you post the output from "lsmod" on Bering 3.1 please?
