The implication being that they draw, we win, and so advance up the table.

This has made me think - do we want go get promoted?

Stupid question you might say, and I'd agree, all clubs/players/fans want 
promotion. But I'm only talking about this season.  Would promotion this season 
be too early?  Wouldn't we just end up being humiliated in the PL and come 
straight back down?

Personally, I'd be happy with mid table safety achieved with a good six to 
eight games left. 

How about a poll? Vote:

A Promotion 
B Mid table security

And let's not even think about option C!
