The other thing I've noticed about Kilkenny is that while he won't hoof the
ball himself, he's not above playing a nice short pass to a team mate in a
worse position who then has to hoof it for him J

we were making the exact same comparison with Kilkenny and McPhail - both
tend to play the easy pass and keep the ball well, and both have the ability
to play the killer pass but do not do it enough, and both lack the physical
presence and athleticism that is needed in the modern game. Not exactly
luxury players but do need the right player alongside them.

I have never seen Faye play,but we did think that he may be a better option
away from home.
