The Bid team made one serious error - instead of Prince William, they should have had Prince Phillip - at least we'd have had some home truths about the process, rather than all the fanny being espoused! Facts are 2 very rich countries have bought the world cups, and this has been rubberstamped by a group of old greedy men who believe themselves to be above any law or morals which normal humans at least accept. If rumours are to be believed, and in the light of little cold hard fact maybe it's as close as we'll get, then given that only 3 of the 22 FIFA reps requested the Ingerland Technical Bid document that probably gives you a clue as to how it was likely to go. I didn't actually want Ingerland to win - imagine the f&&&ing hysteria about how finally we'd win it again on home soil blah blah blah, but how Russia beat Spain can only really be answered in one way - Bl*tters Pension Plan!
