Gradel needs to stop being such a greedy little fucker, it could have been 6-0
(I'm sure they scored due to him losing the ball in our box, when he should of
passed it)

We won, we scored 4 and played shite... I fuckin hate football, it's never
simple

I think after the beer haze and euphoria of yesterday you have to look at this
game and say that when it was 11 against 11 we were second best and on the
whole pretty dreadful. The amount of people near me that were saying that 4-5-1
just wasn't working. Nobody in our midfield could get hold of the ball and our
only option seemed to be to lump it long to Becchio who either fell over,
complained he was fouled or just lost the 50:50 header. It really was poor
stuff and I hope Grayson's forgets about the second half and really starts
asking himself some serious questions. 4-5-1 is not working at home, we really
struggle with this formation especially if Gradel and Snodgrass aren't flying.
Also, I really can't understand why Kilkenny has been dropped ? I thought
Bannan on the whole did well, he's a good enough little player when he gets the
ball but that doesn't come that easy to him and he does have a tendancy to want
to dribble with the ball which usually has a high chance that
someone will get a boot in and we'll lose possession. A completely different
player to Kilkenny, who isn't as mobile, but is always available to take the
ball and move it on. Kilkenny is the heart of our team. The defence throughout
was shocking. In the first half O'Brien and Bromby looked like they'd been on
the lash and were turing out on a Sunday morning. It was Keystone cops
defending at times. The one good thing is the way we managed to overrun the 10
men because we have struggled to do that in the past but there's no way we will
get promotion playing that team and that formation. Overall I was disappointed
with the performance yesterday and you don't often say that after winning 4-1.
My scores (my attention to detail was slightly impaired by the bitter): Kasper
- 7. He made a few half decent saves. Lichaj - 6. Probably our best defender on
the day but that doesn't say much. McCartney - 5. Poor. O'Brien - 5. Poor
Bromby - 5. Poor Johnson - 5. Can't we play a system wit
hout this bloke ? Gradel - 8. Good goal, lively second half. Snodgrass - 6.
Great pass for one of the goals but not the same player as earlier in the
season. Bannan - 7. Did ok at times. Howson - 6. Much better second half.
Becchio - 3. Dreadful, just plain dreadful. Got his tap in though so that'll
keep his fans happy. Not me, we need to be a better side that one with Becchio
in it. Subs: Livermore - 7. Looks like a player but I would be concerned about
his fitness and pace. Seems very one paced. Somma - 10. What a great
performance , he came on for 5 secs and never touched the ball. Killkenny -
cant remember if he did owt Billy Davies - what a horrible little runt. -----

[LU] Forest report Will keep it brief since I expect many of you will have had
access to TV pictures. Bottom line- it was a great result but not a grea
t performance by any stretch of the imagination. Early kick off made for a
very early start from me,leaving home before 8am and getting to Spoons at Leeds
