All of whom were much better players and much more important than Howson. Not that I don't think it is a shame he is going, I just think this was inevitable, and the club weren't going to get burned as they were with Beckford, Johnson and Kilkenny. I don't think I could be any more devastated when we sold Batty to Cashburn. I wrote to the club to complain (and got a letter back!) Ever since then, I have accepted that's the way it goes, and I don't understand why everyone is so upset about Howson, compared with the other players I have mentioned. Clayton is a better player in my opinion.
