Great performance today. We went head-to-head with the runaway leaders of the league, and much more than gave as good as we got. The stats for once tell a true story............68% possession, 13 shots to their 5. Just such a shame that 3 key moments went against us..............their keeper's 2 excellent but also lucky point blank saves, and Sam Byram's misplaced clearance. I think they would have been happy (and lucky) to come away from that match with a point. But our performance was light years better than the recent home wins v eg Boro & Bolton. If we keep playing like that, we'll not lose many matches in this league. The acid test though is whether we can start to produce summat away from home.
