Does anyone think that players actually don't want to be promoted? Most, if not all, of our players are not Premier League quality, and would all have to move to the bench, move to the reserves, or more likely move to other clubs, should we get promoted. So in the back of their mind they know they're not going to cut it, don't want to do themselves out of a job, and so don't perform when they really need to. Would anyone here do the very best they could in their job if they knew that the reward for doing so would be to lose that job? Not that I'm a believer in conspiracy theories usually mind.
