The ref had a poor game. He got many decisions wrong, missed things, and let the wrong things go. He could have booked about three Leicester players just for persistent fouling, the body check on Brown was worse than Smith's sending off offence last week, as was the deliberate kicking of Pearce (or Warnock?) off the ball! If penalties were given for the kinds of shirt pulling that pulled Lees off his header, as you correctly note Nick, then there'd be six or seven per game, they just don't seem to give them, at least not to us. But it was a much better performance, enough of an improvement to see me and a couple of (dirty) part time supporters decide to go to the Ipswich game :-) DRB _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER
