Irrespective of the lack of transfer activity and the nonsense of the ongoing takeover there is an important game tonight Performance wise we did stop the rot in the Leicester game but of course we still lost. Tonight we need to get 3 points and we need to do it with a bit of style. Whilst the crowd are 100% behind McDermott in so much as they all want him to succeed, a fair number are starting to doubt his actual ability after a few awful performances and strange team selections
McD has to get it right tonight - his instinct will, presumably, be to pick the same team as did reasonably well last time out. Smith (hat-trick last night to make it 4 in 2 behind closed door games) is still banned and Hunt, who also scored v Hull is still not quite match fit and Diouf did not play in midweek. GFH are still trying in regards to fans and have made it £20 to get in tonight, but reading about ticket sales on (obsessed) waccoe it does not seem to be working that well, with a crowd nearer 20 than 30 expected.
