After many years of resisting family pressure to go to T**key, for obvious reasons, I have at last caved in. We will be flying in to I****bul tomorrow lunchtime for a week.
If I am going to go, I feel that I would like to pay some sort of feeble homage to Chris & Kevin. I am not going to lay any flowers (I can't stand all that Diana-style stuff), and I do not for a moment think that the lads are there in the afterlife looking down on me. But nevertheless, I would like to visit the spot where they were murdered. I know the murders took place in Taksim Square. My questions to the list are: Does anyone know if there is any way to tell the precise spot? And does anyone know if it would perhaps NOT be advisable to go there wearing a Leeds shirt?
