I've got (very) fond memories of that Leicester pub too :) Though like Michel Blanc, I never could conclure :)
The list meets were (and surely still are) the best - Jeremy & Dr. Gary in NY (I sneaked out of my hotel room counting on the jet lag to keep my wife asleep to go have a beer or 3 with Jeremy), Tim Harper in Madrid, Guy in Amsterdam and in Pussay, along with most of the Lards, Mika and his friends in Helsinki, the Californian Armenian (sorry can't remember his name) in Paris who insisted that we drank in Fouquets' because it was the most expensive place he could find and what did I care because he was paying - if you're still on the list the shame still burns that I've never bought you a beer back (not that I'd be paying 10 quid a half 1990s prices though) - the Sam Smiths pub in Smithfield, the Adelphi, Worldnet, Squiggle (et al) at Manchester and Pussay and so on.... ... We'll have to do it again sometime soon :) Damian On Tue, Jan 26, 2016 at 3:08 PM, Jeremy Adams <jeremyadam...@hotmail.com> wrote: > as does a very pleasant post WorldNet drinking session in some Leicester > pub before heading home. > _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org MARCHING ON TOGETHER
